1. General Rental Agreement
The customer hereby rents bicycles and e-scooters from KALIOPE under the terms outlined in this agreement.
2. Rental Service Details
- All rentals require prior booking, either in person or online.

The rental period starts at 08:00 and ends at 21:00 for a single-day rental.

Equipment will be delivered to and collected from the customer’s
accommodation or any other agreed location.

Delivery and pick-up are free of charge within Kali.
- Deliveries outside these areas may incur an additional fee.

Customers must return the equipment directly to a KALIOPE
representative, not hotel staff or third parties.
3. Reservation, Payment, Deposit, and Cancellation
- Reservations should be made in advance to ensure availability.

Same-day rentals may be requested via phone or WhatsApp.

Accepted payment methods: Cash.
- Rentals require full payment upon delivery or pick-up.

Customers must provide a valid ID or passport upon receiving
the equipment.

Customers must report any issues with delivered equipment immediately.
They can cancel at delivery without a cancellation fee, but no refund is provided once the equipment is used.
4. Rental Equipment Usage

All bicycles, e-bikes, and scooters are maintained in excellent condition.
- Helmets and other safety gear provided must be worn at all times.

The rented equipment may only be used by the customer and designated
persons in the rental contract.
- The customer must report any damage or malfunction immediately.

All bicycles and e-scooters are provided with high-security locks and must
be properly secured when unattended.

For overnight rentals, equipment should be stored in a secure, closed space.
5. Age Requirements
- Bicycles & E-Bikes: Minimum age is 14 years. Underage riders must be accompanied by an adult.
- Scooters: Minimum age is 16 years, but a
valid driving license (AM category or higher) is required.

Customers renting e-scooters must present their valid driving license upon
receiving the equipment.
6. Damage, Loss, and Theft

The customer is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the rented
equipment.
- Repair or replacement costs will be charged at market prices.

If damages exceed the deposit amount, the customer must cover the full
repair or replacement costs.

In the event of theft, the customer must immediately notify KALIOPE and the local police.
7. Liability and Insurance

The customer is responsible for their own personal insurance coverage.
- KALIOPE is not liable for any injury, accidents, or loss of
personal belongings during the rental period.

The customer assumes full responsibility for any traffic fines or
violations incurred while using the rental equipment.
8. Traffic and Safety Regulations
-
All customers must obey Croatian traffic laws while using
rental equipment.

Any fines or penalties issued due to improper use are the responsibility
of the customer.
9. Late Returns and Additional Charges
-
Late returns without prior notice may result in an extra charge of 10€.
-
Changes to pick-up times must be confirmed at least 12 hours in advance.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Croatian law. Any legal disputes shall be
settled in the courts of Zadar, Croatia.
